All proceeds from this benefit jam will be donated to the American Red Cross for the Hurricane Katrina relief effort. It promises to be a great time for a great cause.
Breakdancers (bboys), DJs, visual artists and other talented performers are coming together to create an afternoon of exciting entertainment to raise money for those whose lives were uprooted by Hurricane Katrina. The all-ages, family-friendly event will feature breakdancing battles and showcases by the region's hottest underground crews, hip-hop dancing routines, funkstyle dancing (popping) showcases and a martial arts performance. There will be art exhibitions and live demonstrations by St. Louis artists Cbabi Bayoc, Peat Wollaeger and Justin Tolentino. The stellar lineup of DJs includes K-Nine (turntabilist, scratch master, beat juggler), Trackstar (hip-hop breaks), Kid Delicious (house), Dr. Binx (hip hop) and Sarah Cox (drum and bass).
